Iphone Competitors Get Serious

First, we had the hackable T-Mobile G1, reinforced by Google’s Android OS. Now, the Palm Pre joins the battle with an attractive design and challenging features. Later, more Android phones are coming. Will this be enough to dethrone the king?

Digital and Analog: Iphone and Paper

Only a prototype for the time being, but IphonePad sounds and looks useful, especially for quick noting (writing in paper is still faster than opnening the notes app and typing on-screen right?)

1TB 2.5” SSD Means Bigger Notebooks are Coming (Someday)

pureSilicon announced the release of what appears to be the first of a kind: 1TB 2.5” Solid State Drive. But it’s aimed for military and server uses rather than consumer laptops. Anyway, as Gizmodo points out, now that the bar has been lifted this kind of drives should be much closer to consumer products.
